Loved the trail! Very fast and fun to ride. Has anyone ever tried to start up a 24 hr. race here?

Try a 6hr or even a 12hr. A lot less logistics & manpower needed. One of the favorite low key events I used to go to is a grassroots 12hr every Memorial Day out at Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort, TX. Basically they ziptie a cheap Walmart clock to the scoring table and you write your own start/stop lap times as you go based on the time on the clock. IIRC, they keep costs down by billing it as a ride not a race so it's covered by the club insurance vs. a separate policy for a race. No course marshalls or anything and they do a schwag raffle vs. prizes by placing. It's a good get your feet wet in event hosting setup.

Monkey Boy,

Shoot me an e-mail offline to discuss timing for events. As we have had some problems in the past with this and we are exploring new options to support a potential race in the Spring.
