Ocean Springs / Gulf Shores

I have to goto Ocean Springs / Gulf Shores this weekend. Is there any suggestions on riding there?
Road bike or mountain bike? Never rode there so open to ideas.

There's the Bethel Trails north of Biloxi - kinda sandy if it hasn't been raining but a decent place to ride.
