Hi this is Josh Smith from Grand Junction CO, I'm in town visiting friends and family and I plan to join this ride. I would like to get a ride in today as well - maybe St Francisville (cause that's the only other place I know around here), but if anyone is willing to show me some trails that would be great! If anyone is up for it please email me at dinotrack@hotmail.com, otherwise see y'all tomorrow...

Hey Josh - welcome to join us but unfortunately its not looking too good for us. Radar showing another big cell coming our way. If get rain tonight - the ride will be off. "Fraid with no elevation here - our trails just don't drain super fast and usually take a day or three before ride-able after a storm. Hopefully you hit the Beast in St. Francisville today. That one dries/drains the fastest and hadn't seen rain since Thursday.

Will keep watching the weather tonight.

And Mother Nature just turned this ride into a Urban Assault Ride.

For anyone interested - meeting at 11:30am in the Gravel Parking lot on Skip Bertman Drive / River Road end of LSU campus. Will ride on top of Levee to downtown - play on some stairs - cruise around back thru campus around the lakes. Riding Mt. bikes for this. (past routes come in around 15 miles)

Uggggghhhhh......

Now considering going to Mt. Zion (Brookhaven, MS). Apparently their trails were ride-able today. Hoping maybe this rain will skirt under them. Gonna check with them in the morning. If good - will meet at Bass Pro in Denham Springs for 0900. If not - then will do an Urban ride at 11:30am - to allow for the Marathon at LSU tomorrow to clear out.

Sunday Shenanigans are moving to Mt. Zion! Meeting at Bass Pro in Denham for 9:30am to head carpool/caravan and head that way.
Bob and Huckaby are in.
Anyone else?

Mt. Zion peeps have reported that they only got a slight drizzle and that the trails are fine!
Ours certainly are not, so away we go!
