Comite Conditions

Trails are back OPEN. Dried up really fast and all the high water is gone. Put 4 loads of crushed concrete on the Low Road, Below Roller Coaster but before River Run.

Dang the trail is in great shape! Wow it's been a month since we rode back there, and what a difference! Lots of area sprayed w round-up, lots of tree and brush cleared away from the trail, and the trees that were down across the trail are now additional jumps! (was that u Teddy?) so thanks to all who worked on clearing things up. only areas that made it tricky are those darn sand traps! I almost ate it twice hittin the sand! Saw more new faces out today also!

BOOKED...hey man, since NOBODY wants to chime in to tell us how the trail is today, after everyones 'group' ride yesterday, I just spoke w a buddy who just got off the trail. He said it's in great shape. Probably the best shape it's been in a while all thanks to the races being held out there this weekend. Go ride while it's nice before it all gets overgrown again. Thanx to Burns for all the cleanup work and to Wayne and the others workin on the new trail maps.

A few little water holes and slick spots, not so wet that riding does damage, should be great by the weekend.

Great news Ray, I was worried there would be limbs down. There were quite a few large trees lost limbs in my area. Also a lot of marble sized hail.

Thanks for the update.

Two small spots holding water late Friday. Probably get ridden dry today. Trail in fantastic shape , cant see how anyone could think otherwise.
Made two laps before it got dark last evening.

Trail is in great shape! Kinda dusty loose dirt, but still pretty fast.
Anyone know who's driving the 02/03 silver Subaru wagon w the roof rack? Just wondering who he/she is, cuz I drive the same car, and seem to enjoy the same outdoor activities (biking and kayaking)! :D

Can somebody post up a conditions update late tues or early wed? I'll be on the road tuesday 'til pretty late but want to sneak in a ride wednesday if it's not too wet.

Anybody else doing a pre-turkey day ride?

Been pretty dry lately. As of Sunday afternoon it was great, just a little moisture in the trail to make it grippy. Lot better than the dust we had all summer. Forecast is for 50% midnight Tuesday. We will try to put something up if it's much of a storm.

Did an artificially illuminated nocturnal bipedal velocipede excursion on the trails last night and the trails were good. No bad spots to speak of and plenty of armamdillo's to cheer you on.
