WET and soggy bottomed.
Please give 'em a couple of days to dry out.

Reports from the crew that went out for trail maintenance this morning is that the trails are still too wet to ride.
Long stretches still underwater.
Please give them some more time to dry out.
Thanks!

OPEN!

Thanks to Burns Decker and a handful of volunteers. Please stay on the Comite side. Connection / Hooper remain closed until storm damage can be cleaned up. Please consider lending a hand. Goes so much faster when you have more than a few helping out. Time to give BACK to the trails that give you so much!

From Burns:

Trail Update. Comite-Gate is open. Trail was still slick in spots. Will be good by afternoon. There may be a few trees and or limbs down in spots.

Hooper is probably still muddy.

Happy 4th Everyone! But Unfortunately I wouldn't make plans to celebrate on the trails (even if the rain does by-pass us today). Lots of mush on the trail with a river running thru the Noose and swimming holes after the Wwall, the Ant hill, the Bowl, the Split before skid mark, and Broken Bridge. Did make use of our one lap out there and removed a tree on x-trail and took out the low hanging branches and face slappers on the rest of the trail. Big THANKS to Burns Decker, Mark Koenig, and Carey Coxe who were out there sweating their tails off trying to fix the big hole!

COMITE trail will be CLOSED this SATURDAY from 8am to 12pm for the trail workday. Hooper will still be open for riding but BRAMBA would love the extra helping hands.
