MZ SCARS "Sundays Crazy Afternoon RaceS". Sorry, that's the best acronym I could come up with. One or two Sunday afternoons a month, when we have good weather predicted we will be having TT's and short course races at Mt. Zion. We will post up on the local forums when this will take place and of course schedule them around series races that we know about. These will be free races just for fun and racing for pride.

We will have the first one this Sunday, March 6, at 2pm. We will have a time trial starting at 2pm. After, based off the TT results, we will form evenly matched teams and have a short course relay race. After that, we can have a group ride for anyone who wants to ride some more. Should be a lot of fun and some good training. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

I'd like to make it out but the 2:00 start time is a likely deal-breaker for me. That's awfully late to start a ride that's 2 hours away. Gotta figure we'd be riding until at least 5:00. Then still have to drive 2 hours to get home afterwards.

We will see if we can move it to 1pm if that would help on Sundays. Also, SCARS can also turn into Saturday races as well if it doesn't conflict with anything else. We will keep you posted. I plan on riding a good bit this sunday from probably 1 to 4 if anyone wants to come ride.
