Did the trail catch much rain? I was thinking of going out there this afternoon.

As far as I know it should b mostly dry out there. Haven't been out since Sunday but it hasn't dropped much rain since then.

It was a little slick with some areas to avoid but otherwise ok. Should be a little better tomorrow.

Was pretty good. Still had half a dozen wet spots, but rest of the trail was tacky. This was at 7am. Probably got better throughout the day.

Lol not really, it was still kinda wet and slick bout 1:00 today. Few spots still holding water actually. Overall it was nice and rideable.

Trail is CLOSED until at least Saturday morning. Noose is flooded, probably point also. A lot of soft spots. It should dry quickly though with this breeze. If you need exercise there are plenty of sticks on the trail that need to be picked up.

Noose and Point were pretty muddy (avoid for a couple more days). North trail has alot of mud, BUT the rest of the trail is tacky and in great shape.

Noose and point are drying out. Lots of people riding this afternoon. Dumped two loads of gravel after the bridge on the point trail. It is still soft and the gravel is loose so be careful there. Also filled some holes where Cypress crosses main trail last Friday. Everybody go ride!

Trail was not to bad this afternoon. North trail has some sloppy spots that I trenched so they could drain. Nothing was under water. We need to do a workday on the North trail to fill low spots with gravel and dig out under the wooden bridge. It has silted up and water is coming over it every time it rains. Maybe if the group ride gets cancelled for Saturday I will go take care of these things.

There was one truck parked in there and he left as I was going in the back, so I went out and locked it while I checked the trail out. Just in case it was flooded. Looked good though. A couple of spots on the North had standing water but a shovel fixed that right up. I have a wish list of projects for the North Trail that should permanetly fix the drainage issues.

So the trail is OPEN. GO RIDE BEFORE IT RAINS MORE :D
