SCRCS Race #1 Bonita Extreme

First SCRCS race of the year will be in Meridian, MS. If you have never ridden that trail, it is a blast. Will be a great place to start the series off right!

The start time has moved to 9am for Bonita. This is going to be the best Bonita course yet. The rain tomorrow will have all the sand packed down and it will be fast except for those leg burning climbs. The weather is going to be perfect. The only reason not to come, is you're scared of the toughest course in MS and AL. This is a real Mtb course with lots of rock and technical decents. If all you can ride is flat, smooth walking tracks, you might want to sit this one out. If you want to see who is actually the best in the region, then show up. Post race food is going to be Popeyes Fried Chicken. If that doesn't get you LA boys out of the swamp, I don't know what will.

Thinking of heading up there. Good to know the rain isn't going to pose a problem with the course.

Anyone else thinking of heading up and want to split costs? Thinking of heading up Saturday to register/ride then spend the night and race on Sunday.

Keith road the trail today and said it looks amazingly good. Just a few wet spots that should be dry by Sunday. I know those South LA trails are under water. You'll come on now and get some fried chicken.
