Comite Conditions

Postby sborne » Fri Dec 16, 2005 5:10 pm

A couple of us from the New Orleans area and possibly Lake Charles are considering a ride at Comite Sunday and are wondering if any of you get out there if you will post conditions as soon as possible. Looks like rain possibly today and tomorrow.

Thanks,

Scott

Hiya. I rode Comite yesterday and the trail is in good condition overall. A little mud in a few spots but really sweet on the whole. Be careful if you ride the connection trail as one of the ravines you ride through near the Hooper road bridge is washed out. Hmmm, I think I'll ride again today.
Huh,.......what?!?!?!

Trails were in great shape today, a few very small spots of mud. All the dust from last sunday is gone.

I rode it early this morning and it wasn't to bad. A lil mud here and there but over all not as bad as I thought it might be. Should be nice for saturday and sunday.

Comite Trail is really nice. Direction is counter clockwise now. Not too cold when moving...
