TRAIL MAINTENANCE DAY SEPTEMBER 3, 2022 8:00am-noon at Comite.
After two consecutive cancellations due to wet conditions, we are (planning on) getting back in the saddle on Saturday. Kindly, individual volunteers and BREC staff have gone out on their own and removed the worst of the vines and branches and trees in the meantime which has allowed us all to ride between soaks. Thanks y’all!
Now it’s time for the rest of us to pitch in and get the trails ready for Autumn riding. Activities include cutting back vegetation and erosion repair, so lopers, string trimmers, hand saws and shovels will be our primary tools of need. No power equipment with hard blades please.
Also, don’t forget, BRAMBA, in conjunction with our strong bench of sponsors will feed you luncheon afterward. Not a BRAMBA MEMBER? Not a problem! All are welcome!
So, Come out, lend a hand, make the trails epic, eat some chow and make some new friends in the process.
