On June 25, 2022 the cycling community lost a beautiful soul. Diana Strebel was one of the original BRAMBA members and one of the first Mt biking women I met when I first started riding. She had a sweet spirit and a wonderfully dry wit. She fought and beat her lung cancer like a true warrior keeping the most amazing positive attitude and zest for life throughout. But sadly in the end, the treatments and fight just took too much of a toll on her body.
To celebrate her life, we will meet August 19, 2022 (6:00pm) at Tin Roof Brewery (1624 Wyoming St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802) for an out and back ride on the levee and cheers a beer in her honor after.
